Ithaca is a small-scale psychotherapy facility. We work partially contract-free. As of January 1, 2026, we have a contract with Zorg en Zekerheid and as of April 1, 2026, we also have a contract with Menzis. We work contract-free with all other health insurers. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ithaca uses the rates set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa), in accordance with the GGZ Quality Statute, section III (monodisciplinary). In addition, we offer our clients a 10% coulance discount on the NZa rate, resulting in a lower final rate. <\/span><\/p>\n

The amount of reimbursement depends on your health insurance and policy conditions. We therefore recommend that you check your policy carefully to see what portion of the treatment is reimbursed. <\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that the deductible (minimum \u20ac385) is for your own account.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nza Rates and Your Costs<\/span><\/p>\n

There are separate fees for an institution monodisciplinary, quality statute section III. The rates are higher than those for independent practice. The rates are set nationwide by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (Nza rate) In the <\/span>rate finder<\/a> of the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) you will find all maximum rates. <\/span>We apply a leniency of 10% on the Nza rate which makes our rate lower.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

When there is no mental disorder, treatment is often not covered by insured mental health care (GGZ). This means that clients who experience psychological symptoms, but do not yet have a formal diagnosis of a mental disorder, are not always eligible for reimbursement from basic insurance. <\/span><\/p>\n
